- Clarence and the WC Fairy Annecy, October 14, 2006 It was just one guitar, one banjo and vocals, no mikes, no amps and yet, it rocked! No pics of the puffs of dust that kept coming out of the carpet under Drew's feet, sorry. Pre-show warm up : 
 Those guys know how to make a bunch of people... Ok, let's be precise : a bunch of quite folk/anti-folk sensitive and pretty much all English understanders people, sing and shout "bop" along. Yep, that sort of people can be found quite easily in Annecy. Let it be known! And playing first, there was Clarence and The WC Fairy, with two mates for a bit of electric guitar here and a touch of keyborad there :  Mr Clarence had a mike and amps but he had been seen in Manigod last July, singing 100% acoustic (just like Drew!) all around the club and climbing on low tables, a bit as an interlude while some guitar chords were being changed by another member of the rock'n roll band he's also part of...
